Allow ORG Owners/Admins to re-assign a remote user to a conversation

This feature was created for dealerships where the remote users may fit into the below scenarios:

  • no remote user started the conversation but a sale needs to belong to someone (ex: a link was used that was not tied to any remote user)

  • if a customer was shared and one remote user started the conversation but needs to be re-assigned to a different remote user to complete the conversation (or re-assigned based on location or shared dealership locations)

  • a remote user was terminated and a new one needs to take over asap

Click on the P2/Conversations tab in the left navigation toolbar (it may still say Conversations “beta”)

Select the Conversations tab on the left navigation toolbar, and click on ORG VIEW at the top of the dashboard and you will see a list of all conversations.

When you click on a Conversation from your list on the left, you will notice that if a remote user was assigned, it will show in the upper right corner of the conversation

Click “Change Remote User” which will open up a select contact box where you will type in the NEW remote users info and “select contact”

NEW remote user is now assigned to this conversation
